Gertrude E. Bakel

Gertrude is one of Happiness Foundation’s first Volunteer Consultants having teamed up with its founder Mickey Beyer-Clausen in October 2002 to help model the Foundation and reach out to its first Nonprofits. Gertrude works as an independent marketing communications consultant in the U.S. and in Europe. She previously held senior management positions with international public relations and marketing agencies, namely Hill & Knowlton, GCI Europe (a division of Grey Communications Group), and Dentsu/H.F.&P. She began her career in New York at Nike Communications after graduating magna cum laude from New York University with a BA in journalism. As a college freshman, Gertrude co-founded a local chapter of CHANCE (Concern and Help for the Advancement of Needy Children through Education), a tutoring and mentoring program for inner-city youth. As an Advisor to Happiness Foundation, Gertrude is pursuing her lifelong interest in helping others by helping to expand the Foundation’s work.
Jette Beyer-Clausen

Jette Beyer-Clausen is a professional astrologer and coach. Before establishing her own counseling firm, she was an Air Purser with Scandinavian Airlines for 33 years traveling around the world. During her employment with SAS, she was also involved in recruiting new personnel and teaching at various personal development seminars. As a family member to the founder of Happiness Foundation, Jette Beyer-Clausen has been a close strategic adviser since the very beginning. Based on her own experiences, she strongly believes that happiness can be achieved by helping other people.
